About this tour
Seven days is enough to stop rushing, and this is the itinerary that uses them.
You arrive to a dinner cruise on the Nile. Day two is Giza in full — not just the pyramids and the Sphinx but the Valley Temple and the workers' tombs, which is where you learn that these things were built by paid labourers rather than slaves — and then the Grand Egyptian Museum.
Day three goes to Dahshur for the Red and Bent Pyramids and on to the Step Pyramid at Saqqara: the whole evolution of pyramid building in one morning. Day four is Islamic Cairo — the Citadel, Sultan Hassan and Al-Rifai. Day five is Alexandria and the sea. Day six is the Museum of Egyptian Civilization and its Royal Mummies Room, then Old Cairo and the Hanging Church.

9am A private historical tour to the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, The Valley Temple and the workers' tombs, then to the Grand Egyptian Museum, the golden mask of King Tutankhamun, and the statue of Ramses II.

9am A special historical tour to the Dahshur pyramids (the Red Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid), then to the Saqqara area and the Step Pyramid of Saqqara, the Pyramid of Teti and Unas, then to the Memphis Open Air Museum, the statue of Ramses II, the statue of Ramses III, and the Little Sphinx.

9am A special historical tour to the Citadel of Saladin and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, then to the Mosque and Madrasa of Sultan Hassan and the Al-Rifai Mosque, and finally to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square.

7 am Overday Cairo Alexandria Cairo Visit Catacomb, the Library of Alexandria, the Roman Theater, Qaidbay Castle, and the Alexandria Corniche. Back to Cairo

Questions people ask before booking
Is this a private tour, or will I be sharing it?
Private. The guide, the driver and the vehicle are yours alone, and no other travellers join. You set the pace at each site and you can change the order of the day as you go, because nobody else is waiting in the car.
Are entrance fees included, or do I pay at each site?
Entrance tickets are not in the tour price for this itinerary. They are paid at each site on the day, in Egyptian pounds, and your guide will tell you the current price before you buy so there are no surprises at the gate. Everything else quoted to you is fixed in writing before you travel.
Will you collect me from my hotel?
Yes. Transfers are part of this tour, including meeting you on arrival. Send your flight details and hotel when you book and the driver will be there — Gulf flights often land early, and the day is planned around your actual arrival time.
Will the driver stop for prayer, and can lunch be halal?
Yes to both. Tell your guide at pickup and the day is arranged around prayer times, with a stop at a mosque when you need one. Meals are at local restaurants where halal is the norm rather than a special request — say so when booking and it is confirmed in advance.
Do I need a visa for Egypt?
It depends on the passport you hold, not on where you live. Requirements, fees and processing times are set by the Egyptian government and change without notice, so check the official portal at visa2egypt.gov.eg or the Egyptian Consulate in Dubai for your own nationality. How do I get a price for this tour?

Because the vehicle and guide are priced for the party rather than per head, a family of four pays far less per person than a couple. Nothing is added afterwards.
