About this tour
Seven days is enough to stop rushing, and this is the itinerary that uses them.
You arrive to a dinner cruise on the Nile. Day two is Giza in full — not just the pyramids and the Sphinx but the Valley Temple and the workers' tombs, which is where you learn that these things were built by paid labourers rather than slaves — and then the Grand Egyptian Museum.
Day three goes to Dahshur for the Red and Bent Pyramids and on to the Step Pyramid at Saqqara: the whole evolution of pyramid building in one morning. Day four is Islamic Cairo — the Citadel, Sultan Hassan and Al-Rifai. Day five is Alexandria and the sea. Day six is the Museum of Egyptian Civilization and its Royal Mummies Room, then Old Cairo and the Hanging Church.
Six nights' hotel with breakfast, hotel pick-up and drop-off every day, an English-speaking guide, a private air-conditioned car, taxes and visa on arrival.

Pick up from Cairo airport with visa on arrival. To the Hotel 7 pm Free dinner cruise on the Cairo Nile

9am A private historical tour to the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, The Valley Temple and the workers' tombs, then to the Grand Egyptian Museum, the golden mask of King Tutankhamun, and the statue of Ramses II.

Day 3
9am A special historical tour to the Dahshur pyramids (the Red Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid), then to the Saqqara area and the Step Pyramid of Saqqara, the Pyramid of Teti and Unas, then to the Memphis Open Air Museum, the statue of Ramses II, the statue of Ramses III, and the Little Sphinx.

9am A special historical tour to the Citadel of Saladin and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, then to the Mosque and Madrasa of Sultan Hassan and the Al-Rifai Mosque, and finally to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square.

7 am Overday Cairo Alexandria Cairo Visit Catacomb, the Library of Alexandria, the Roman Theater, Qaidbay Castle, and the Alexandria Corniche. Back to Cairo

9 am a historical tour to the new Museum of Civilizations and the Mummies Room, then to lunch if you like, then a visit to Old Cairo And the Hanging Church, Khan El Khalili market area
