One Day Cairo Tour: Pyramids & the Grand Egyptian Museum
About this tour
Two of Egypt’s greatest sights in a single day, without rushing either. Your private guide and driver collect you from your hotel in Cairo or Giza at 8:00 am and take you straight to the Giza plateau, ahead of the heaviest crowds, for the Great Pyramid, the smaller pyramids and the Sphinx.
From there you cross to the Grand Egyptian Museum, the largest archaeological museum in the world and the new home of the complete Tutankhamun collection — the golden mask, the treasures buried with him, and the royal mummies. You have two hours or so inside, which is enough to see the highlights properly rather than at a jog.
Lunch is taken at a local restaurant between the two, and you are back at your hotel by late afternoon.

Morning: 8:00 AM — Pick-up from your hotel in Cairo o Your private guide and driver will meet you at your hotel in Cairo or Giza. 8:30 AM — Giza Pyramids and Sphinx - Great Pyramid of Khufu: Explore the only surviving Wonder of the Ancient World. o Pyramid of Khafre and Menkaure: See the other two pyramids, and enjoy panoramic views. o The Great Sphinx: Marvel at the legendary guardian with the lion's body and Pharaoh's face. o Optional: Camel ride around the pyramids for a memorable experience (additional cost). 10:30 AM — Transfer to the Grand Egyptian Museum Drive from Giza to Grand Egyptian Museum (30 minutes).
