5 Days Private Tour: Luxor, Old Cairo, Giza Pyramids & Alexandria
About this tour
The same route as our four-day tour with a fifth day added, and that day changes it considerably — it is the difference between seeing Cairo and passing through it.
You begin in Luxor with the temples and the Valley of the Kings, fly north for Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum, and give a full day to Alexandria and the Mediterranean.
The fourth day is the one the shorter tours cut: the Citadel of Saladin and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali in the morning, then down into Old Cairo for the Hanging Church and the Coptic quarter, at a pace that lets you actually sit down somewhere.
Hotel with daily breakfast, an English-speaking guide, private transport throughout, a Nile dinner cruise, taxes and visa on arrival. You fly home from Cairo on day five.

Pick up from Luxor airport. Pick up at 9am A private historical tour to the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, then to The Grand Egyptian Museum, the golden mask of King Tutankhamun, and the statue of Ramses II

Pick up at 7 am A private historical tour to Alexandria, including visits to the Catacombs, Qaidbay Citadel, the Library of Alexandria, Pompey's Pillar, and the Alexandria Corniche. Then return to Cairo

9 am A private historical tour to the Citadel of Saladin and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, then to Old Cairo, the area of churches and the Hanging Church, then to the Museum of Civilizations and the Mummy Room of the Kings and Queens of Ancient Egypt
