About this tour
The same eight-hour route as our guided pyramid day — Giza and the Sphinx, the Step Pyramid at Saqqara, and the old capital at Memphis — but with the driver and the car only.
Your driver handles the roads, the parking and the waiting, and you take each site at whatever pace suits you. It is the cheaper way to do the day, and the right one if you have read the history already and would rather stand in front of it quietly.
Entry tickets are bought at each gate. Going inside the Great Pyramid is $35 per person and the Middle Pyramid is $10; a camel along the ridge is $20 for an hour or $10 for half of it. Water and an air-conditioned car are included.
